Club Sessions at Crag X will teach students how to climb, boulder, manage the safety systems of top rope climbing, and understand the risks of indoor climbing under the supervision of our qualified instructors.
In the first session students will go through a beginner lesson and learn how to put on a harness, tie the proper knots, and safely manage the rope belay systems. Skills are reviewed the following week by our staff to ensure retention before students are allowed to climb independently. Shoe and harness rentals are included in the cost of the series and gym staff are on the floor to watch for and manage any safety concerns throughout the series.
The knowledge and skills gained over the series will allow students access to our facility during the appropriate times provided they are able to pass our standard belay test when they come in outside of the times scheduled with their school.
You’ll need a minimum of 6 students to run a series and our maximum is 15 students.
